RE: This is Making Me Nervous
I have an '07 EGC(came from an '04 EGC which I traded an '01 RK in on) and brother bought an '07 Street Glide(he traded in an '01 EGC). I love the EGC. It's easy to ride in traffic(it's my daily comuter) and on long trips, I and wife couldn't be happier. Now I did love that RK but we needed more storage onlong trips. And it comes in handy for just riding around town. Both helmets fit in tour pack.
I tried to talked brother into another EGC and removing the stuff to make it look like a SG. It's definitely cheaper that way. By time he added backrest/sissy bar, tourpack, docking hardware and the foglights(which he realized he really needed at night), he had more in his SG than I do in the EGC.

RE: This is Making Me Nervous
I hear you Unome! Harley is the only company that has mastered the art of getting people to pay more, for less. Look at the list on a Fatboy. It's basically the price of an Electra Glide Classic and you get nothing. That's how I look at the Street-Glide. It's a nice piece of work from Harley, no doubt, but they get more for that bike than an EGC, profit must be way higher without Tour-Pack, running lights, chrome gaurds etc. Go figure...[sm=usa.gif]
