Doubt there is a difference but when HD changed frames they may have changed the cable.
Did you do much riding this year? We did not, trying to gear up for retirement meaning getting all big projects done and behind us.This was a stella season for that.Dog (Mike)

Have you called Big Moose. A buddy had all his cables and hoses made there. They look nice and are way cheaper then Hd part numbers.

I found a +4 Barnett clutch cable for an '08 at a great price, so I want to make sure it will work before buying it.

Is there such a thing as a +2 clutch cable, or is there only +4?

Anyone have a stock or +2 clutch cable laying around?

I also found that my rear rotor is at .218", and the minimum allowed is .205".....so I guess I should start looking for one of those too.

Anyone have a stock rear rotor laying around?

Thanks,

Steve

Anyone know of a good source for clutch cables, +4 is what I'm looking for, for an '05 touring.

Money is tight, so cheaper the better.

I found a great deal on the '08 model, but I want to make sure it won't cause any issues or not work right.

I just got a response from Barnett -

"The 2008 bikes changed to a 6 speed and the exposed wire is more then the 2005 model. The 05' is 2 3/4" and the 08' is 3 1/2" and it is usually to much to adjust the slack out of."

So it looks like I can't jump on that deal, have to keep looking for a '05 cable.

Anyone have any good mail order places with good pricing?
