Question Tail lights

Can anyone tell this knucklehead (me) how to replace the tail light bulb on a '10 Ultra Classic? I've removed the socket (with bulb in it) from the housing but can't figure out how to get the bulb out without breaking it.

Buy a tube of dielectric grease and put it on every ( DC ) electrical connection you ever take apart or replace, from spark plugs to fuses to conectors. It will same you from future troubles with corrosion and rusting.

The bulb on your bike pulls straight out.

DO you have the new bulb in hand? If so you should be able to see if it twists or pulls straight out.
