How long to get it back? What year is your bike? How much total cost?

MeanCityCycle is a great company for any type of seat modifications. I had my stock seat redone and lowered back in July. My other half and I went on a short 3000 mile trip and the seat felt great. One day, we were on the bike for 14 hours, but our asses sure did not feel like it. Money well spent for us.

When you are ready, call them up and set an appointment, to have your seat done. When I called they were taking appointments 6 weeks out. So, take that into consideration when you call them. You can ship your seat to them at any time. As long as the seat is there, prior to the appointment day. I sent mine in 4 weeks ahead of my appointment. They have a storage room, to hold your seat, until your appointment day. They do your seat modifications in one day and ship it back to you, the same day, via FEDEX. Once they ship it, you normally get it in 2 -3 days. I got mine back in 2 days. Break in period is 500 miles, give or take. My total cost, to have the rider and passenger seat done with shipping both ways, was $ 310.00. I went all out on my modification. I wanted it done right, the first time. I had the double decker memory foam put in my seat. You can't go wrong with this modification. I have a 2011 FLHTCU.

I was able to send mine in the day before the work date appointment and had it back one week after I removed it from the bike. Having a temporary seat to use helps considerably, of course.

MCC memory foam seat mod and the heritage bars were by far the two best comfort mods done to the Road King.

The seat mod was terrific right out of the box from them, but it just seems to get even better the more I ride it.

My fiancé just had her new street glide seat done by MCC. She got the super narrow' lowered and memory foam added. The seat is fantastic ! It looks like stock but is lowered and narrowed for her. They actually got hers done a day early. We had it out and back inside of a week. The shipped it out the same day they completed the work. awesome service !

I'm also waiting for my seat to be back from them. 2010 SG, super narrow, extreme mod.

I've corresponded w/ Allen via email and he responded within 15 min, every time!

After reading all the great reviews, I cannot wait to get my seat back from them!!

Is memory foam a trade name or a type of commonly used foam.
