On my Harley I just leave the throttle tube dry. No issues. On my dirt bikes I put a thin layer of good quality water proof grease between the bar and throttle tube.

Anyone reccommend a shop to cut/weld in my new neck for my 26 wheel in or around illinois ?

Nope. I've been to Sturgis, Street Vibrations, Hollister, and the Oyster Run. They are all pretty much the same. I'll do Sturgis again, but just for the ride there and back.

Most enforcement I ever saw was at Hollister. At least 2 on every corner, plus a damn helicopter flying over the event the whole day taking pics. Crazy.
