Clutch adjustment. My bikes are older than yours, so may not be any help. In my case, I adjust the clutch every primary service on the White Lightning. The bagger has hydraulic clutch and requires no adjustment. Both shift into neutral effortlessly. I run Redline in the HD's transmission and the improvement in shift quality is very noticeable over the Syn3.

+1 on the Red Line Shockproof and new linkage. Made mine smoother, much less noise and easy to find N. Make sure the linkage has heim joints. The OEM HD linkage joints will and do fail.

My clutch gets adjusted every 5000 miles and it's still a pain in the butt to find neutral sometimes. Be careful not to overfill your primary, they say that can make neutral hard to find as well.

Redline SPH in the trans, Mobile Racing 4T 10w40 in the primary. Quiet, smooth, Neutral from 1 or 2 very easy (couldn't even approach neutral from 2 before the SPH).

I run Mobil 1 in the crankcase primarily because its readily accessible if I'm on a trip. I run redline shockproof in the tranny and redline MTL in the primary. Neutral is no problem for me.

I used different weights of AmsOil in each hole when I sold my 95 FLSTN my service records went with her but it was AMSoil and it shifted great not that it was bad before or anything just better. Finding N just took getting the right touch down then it was easy.

..and if the oil does not solve the problem, try adjusting your rear shift lever to a lower position

Just bought a new left over 11 Ultra Limited....... Love the bike........ almost impossible to find neutral... put up with it. 1000 mile service.. put amsoil in all 3 holes and got the
bike bike and BINGO.... neutral easy as pie.......... It could be the amsoil, or the adjustments at the service or a combination of both...... I dont know..... Neutral is
no longer a problem......................hdman
