Default new passing lamps

finished the new passing lamps install. looks sweet, dont know why all the touring bikes dont come stock with them. any who the only thing i noticed is the passing lights are not as "white" light as my head light (silverstar ultra )bulb.but they gotta throw more light than just the single headlight.

Which bulbs did you get? I have the ones with the replaceable inner bulb (pn: 68348-05) instead of the sealed entire light. The ones that you can replace the inner bulb (like the headlight) are a bit brighter.

FYI there is a Sliver Star Ultra that will fit the passing lamp housings. Can't rember the number but have them on my Street Glide. The stockers are a 90 degree angle and the ones I put in are straight, was a little snug but they will fit and match the headlight's whiteness.

For me one of the biggest draws to buying my SG back in '06 when they first came out was because they only had the headlight and no driving lights. To each his own.

Not as white. Put HD LED lights in and watch the entire front light up. I tried the Truck-lite combo and HD. No comparison, HD better.
