Best way to stop the dive is go back to the drum brakes of the 70's. You won't stop, but you won't have that dive either.

First getting rid of the showa fish oil that comes originally in the forks is a plus, whether changing to Type E or SE. I have found a 50/50 mix of type E and SE works for me. So I guess I am running 12.5 wt. It seems to be the best of both worlds. Next time I am going to use something other than HD fork oil. Will probably try Bel Ray or Race Tech. Will still shoot for about 12.5 wt.
