Default What is This Switch?

Guess I'm a dumb *** but I can't figure out what this switch does. It is a little cable type push pull thing down on the lower left inside of the fairing (EG Classic). Just below the left fairing speaker.

I can't find anything in the manual on it. It seems to have no effect on anything. My Road King had nothing like this.

Hmm. I don't know myself. I've never seen a switch located in the area you are describing. Maybe someone else will chime in.

It looks and feels like an old style choke switch/cable. Anyone with an old carb glide?

Bike is in for a tune and run on the dyno. Will take a pick when I get it back later in the week.

Wow, I thought someone would know this right away. Maybe it is a lighter and I just was not pulling it all the way out?

If it looks like this, it's your lighter/power outlet~~pull.

I'm guessing it is the cigar lighter/power outlet. The element that pulls out is stiff to keep it from vibrating out of the socket when underway.
