Default Hi to low convertor with arc

I have J&M speakers (7.25) with hog tunes tweeter bar. Recently installed arc audio amp. I read online about using a high to low convertor for better sound quality.
I bought a scoche convertor. The problem is how do you adjust the gain on the convertor AND on the arc audio ? Should I max out the convertor and adjust the arc ? Not sure.Do I even need the convertor. I am by no means an audiophile . Thanks
By the wya the thing is loud as hell.

If you got the Arc amp new it should have come with a speaker level plug. If you use that you don't need the adapter. That way you only have one gain to worry about.
