I think you will like it, I'm 5'9 as well (just a little lighter LOL) and the Sundowner felt best for me, then I had a friend with an auto upholstery shop fitted to my butt, he made it a bit thinner in the middle and kind it reshaped it, much better reach without compromising comfort, very happy and it didn't affect the passenger pad, so wife is happy.
