Default Santee Bonanza Touring Handlebars ???

Are anyone running these bars? Any pictures? And.... how much longer do my cables need to be? I have +6", I believe I should be fine.

Thanks,

Scott

Scott, I know it's been a few years but did you ever end up getting any of those bars? I am looking at the santee bonanza touring bars and no one else on the forum seems to have them.

thanks!

Seth these were some of the first bars that caught my eye when I was searching for bars. I think Fred Kodlin is as good a fabricator and motorcycle builder as there is, but these bars, as much as I liked them, just wasn't a fit for me. The wrist angle was the deterrent for me. It looks to me like the would cause arm fatigue the way they angle down. I've never seen a set in person just going by pics I've seen on the internet. Just something to consider. Also read where these bars were very thin.

Thanks sbates! I will keep all of this in mind. I have rsd vintage apes on my wide glide and have done >1k mile rides with them. They look similar to the bonanza bars. What do you mean when you say "thin?"

Thin walled. I've read somewhere that they are made of thinner tubing and are prone to bending.
