Has anyone used the Deltran Battery Tender power outlet? It's listed as a "female cigarette adapter" part # 081-0069-8. The web address is:

The outlet plugs into the batter tender connecter. I'm interested in using the outlet to power a gps. Seems like a quick and easy way to provide a power source. I have an 08 Road King.

Just wondering if anyone uses this and if so, does it work?

Yes, that will work. I assume your going to use the factory GPS power adapter?

 

Haven't gotten that far in the thinking process yet, I just found out about the battery tender power outlet.

It should come with the GPS.

 

Sorry RollaMo - I misunderstood your question. Yes, I'm planning to use the power adapter that came with the GPS.

 

I found one at a O'Reilly Auto Parts store for about $6. It was by the battery tenders and trailer hookups. Visited 4 auto parts stores and it was at the 2nd O'Reilly's I visited.
