2 ohm speaker choices
First, thanx to all who responded to my handlebar question. Next question, what speakers 6.5/7.25 can I use with the stock head unit that would be noticeably better than the Harley boom speakers that I put in my 2012 SG batwing? I prefer not to go to an amp at this time but it might be possible down the road.
I realize that bass and small speakers are not usually used in the same sentence, and bass needs a lot of wattage. Looking for clarity and a sound that isn't as harsh to me at highway speeds.

I've got the J & M 7.25's, and like them pretty well. That being said I'm sure there are better ones out there and at some point in the future may go that way. I think the J & M's are good, ARC makes some 2 ohm speakers that are good, and there are many others out there that I can't seem to remember at the moment.

when you are looking at specs,
the spec to check is "sensitivity" usually expressed as:
X dB @1 watt, measured at 1 meter
an average rating would be 92 dB--- 98 dB is a better rating and would produce more than TWICE as much sound at the exact same volume setting on the head unit.
frequency response should be fairly flat--- a spec such as +/- 3dB is not very good, 2 dB would be better, 1 better than that
