Default New guy with a new bike! Official introduction thread

Hey guys,

Just writing to introduce myself. My name is Andy. I'm coming over from the Dyna forum. I used to ride a 2009 Street Bob and recently sold it so I could move to something a little better for me and my wife to ride. I started looking on ebay and craigslist within 200 miles of Cincinnati. The first bike I found was this one but the owner was asking too much. To make a long story short, he called me 3 weeks later and said he'd dropped the price. I gave him an offer and he took it. I bought a 2007 Road King with 10,500 miles on the clock only 3 miles from my house and quite a bit of work already done by the previous owner. I absolutely love it! The ride is superb and I'm really starting to like having bags and a rear luggage rack. I didn't have any of that on my Street Bob.

Anyway, if you guys know of anything on the 07's I should be looking out for or have checked out I would really appreciate it. One of my key fobs isn't working so I'm going to have that checked out but other than that the bike is really great! Looking forward to contributing on the boards.

Nice looking bike ! Congrats !

Check and see if an IDS system has been added to the rear wheel. The '07's had problems with transmission vibes, which was corrected on the '08 models.
