How to drop a rkc

Yup did just that right in front of the HARLEY DEALERSHIP! Right up at the front door!....wifey hopped on without letting me know and I had my hands off the bars putting on my gloves and all of a sudden a schlo-mo list to the left!. Some buds came running up to assist but I had to see if I could do it myself as shown on this site! and it was real easy!

Dropped mine a couple times once at the dealer pulling out sideways on a slight grade. I rolled over a man hole cover and down she went. It was a brand new 2006 CVO Ultra classic. I picked it up and the only damage was small scratches on the bottom of the crash bar. Pride hurt more than the bike. Also, it triggered the fuel shut off. I had to cycle the ignition switch three times to get the fuel pump on. I have seem my buddies lay theirs down as well. It happens.

For me, Dodge City KS, went to pull off US 50 into hotel, tight lot, steep driveway, sandy and 180 turn to get to desk canopy, bike got too slow on speed and the front tire just rolled out and I laid it down. Pissed me off more than anything, minor scratches and dings but all fixable and the bike went on another 2200 miles no issues.
As stated, it isn't IF you ever lay one down but when.
