If you right foot brake to hold the bike only, it makes a huge difference vs. using the front brake.
Once on the Deuce riding 2-up we started to tip over and I saved it, we were stopped and I had to lift it by the bars.... Had a funny soreness in the wrist later riding home. Woke up at 3am with the pain of a serious sprain. That took a while to recover from.
Had the wheel turned while backing up and didn't compensate enough when stopping on a sloped driveway. Had to set it down but the proper techinique brings it right back up.

There was a car that I had to avoid, plus I really couldn't NOT stop as I wasn't sure where I was going or needed to go. Still learning the signs and there are a lot of one way streets here. And NO.... the family of 5 on the Vespa didn't see me. I had seen them going the opposite way just a few minutes prior. LOL
