Default fork tube nut-special socket needed

Does anyone have a part number or source for the special socket that is needed for remove the retaining nut that holds the fork tube in the triple trees?

Huh? Simple pinch bolts hold them in the triple trees. Are you talking about the fork cap bolts up top? If so, here

Yeah the cap bolts.

Thanks for the link....just ordered one.

Now I have to figure out how to get the darned ignition switch off so the plastic panel can be removed!

A cresent wrench also works, thet arent very tight.

I thought the batwing fairing made it too tight to get a Crescent in there.

Traveler youare right a crescent is to thick the dealer has a flat stamped wrench that is onlw about 1/4 in thick it is 36mm it is a little lose on the fork cap but works just fine
it was included in my ultra tool kit but you can buy it by it self

That's last ditch effort for me personally with a shop cloth over the jaws to save the nut.
