Default Opinion Wanted --- grips---

I thought I would post here to see if anyone has any experience with these.

My Ultra has stock grips and I am looking to get something a little more comfortable on longer trips. I found these similar to the Kurykan ISO grips only half the price...... anyone have any experience/opinions on their products?

thanks,

mike

Read a few negative reviews of Kury products lately...not meaning their grips are bad, but most relate to quality of other accessories.

I currently have HD Aileron grips which are better than stock, but next set will definitely be Avon - they make awesome grips.

in all my years of riding- the stock grips fit my hands best--- I deal with carpal tunnel and arthritis.

the kury grips I read may strip out on TBW.

and a loose grip is really a drag for canyons.

Avon is some good stuff...and made right here in Texas. Cheap too compared to what the MoCo wants.

i jsut got the Harley Get-A-Grip Magnum handgrips.. they are very comfy grips being a little oversized. that little bit more of width is good, my hands are kind of messed up from work, and these were a vast improvement over stock.

Grip puppies.

Seriously, they are amazing, and cheap. A set would run you $11, and its the best $11 you will ever spend on a bike.

Install takes 5 minutes, no tools, no removal of old grips.

I went through numerous grips before discovering these gems and now I just slap them on the stock grips and they are all day comfortable.

Here is an install video, shows the product and how simple it is to throw on your bike:

I have the Kury ISO, but would like to try something else. Heard a lot about the Avons. Problem is my helmet lock is the Kury one that goes on the end of the ISO grip. Would have to come up with an alternative for that too.

Yeah, my new grips are more comfortable than stock as they're just a tad bigger and it forces me to relax my hands more. Before, I was gripping so hard my thumb felt like it needed surgery.

I'm running these with mesh back mechanics gloves in the summer, and leather for the upcoming winter.

Default Grip Puppies

The "Grip Puppies" would have been perfect, but I just called California Sport Touring, very nice customer service btw, but unfortunately they no longer sell any "Grip Puppies" that fit the 1" handle bars.

I'm going to check into the Avons next....

Thanks for the replies so far. Still looking for someone who has experience with Kapscomoto.....
