Default Tightening axle nut on 10 SG front wheel

Just purchased a 10 SG front wheel and will be installing it soon on my 07 FLHT. I have a question for those that have done this or anybody that might know. How do you tighten the axle nut? Do you go by the 07 service manual or the 10? They are different in the way this is performed. I have read many threads on this swap and I haven't seen this. I assume you use the 10 way since most everything is from that year. Thanks for your input.

I hope you got the 25mm axle too, IIRC the 07 and earlier bikes use a 1" axle while the 08 and newer use the 25mm. Back to your question, I put the 10 wheel on my 08 and followed the manual for 08. I've put almost 8,000 miles on the set up with no issues.

When I did it, I just followed what was right for my '08 per the manual.

Yes i do have the 10 axle and spacers. I think you tighten the 08 the same as the 10 which is different from the 07. Thanks for your replies.
