Probably not the way you thought this would go....

I don't care what other people put on their bikes, metric or not.

i really like the looks of my memphis shades fairing on my RK. slightly smaller, no radio, quick detachable, and considerably lighter than the harley batwing. do me a favor and do not wave if i ever pass you on the road.

This has to be one of the most stupid and petty things I've read on this board! How old are you, 12? Your wife must be very proud. Go get a life!

Still owning an A.C.E Honda I had plenty to say until I saw your avatar... Now I think I'll just keep my mouth shut and my thoughts to myself while I stare at your Avatar.

You do what you can at the time. Everyone here has been there at one time or another driving a piece of crap car cause that's all you could afford renting a little apartment or owning a little house cause that's all you could afford etc... Years ago I rode a Yamaha cause that was all I could afford, I got to the point where I could buy a Harley and I did an now I am on my second. With all the people out of work and the state of the economy we should consider ourselves lucky that we can afford and cut those who can't a break. I know that if I for some reason could not afford my Harley I would have a Yamaha sitting in the garage. Riding is more important than what is being riden...I don't care what anybody else is riding, as long as it isn't one of those Ugly *** Victories.....LOL

I had a 59 Triumph that I started putting Harley parts on, because it was hard finding old Triumph parts.

My wife has a Memphis Shades batwing on her Dyna.

So..... what's your opinion on those Japanese and Mexican parts on your Harley?

As I said previously, the important thing is that people ride. I feel the Memphis shades fairings look too close to Harley. I still wave to everyone. Usually the metric guys don't wave back. Not trying to stir stuff up. Was trying to get a consensus and perhaps some insight. I owned a Yamaha that I loved. But I didn't dress it in anothers clothes.
