With 74000 miles,is it worth it to do top end work and nothing to the bottom?
Yes, the 88's are much less prone to have crank problems & many have gone well over 100k with no bottom end trouble. At 74K the big issue is the cam tensioners, I would recommend anyone buying a 99-06 to know what has been done to address this issue. If buying from a dealer & with unknown history, I wouldn't leave the dealership until they were checked.

If anyone else has any info on most performance out of slip ons, best A/C . You know that kind of thing....I have read that switching to hydraulic cam tensioners and maybe to 21'scan make a huge difference, but that seems expensive, as I don't want to tackle that myself
