Want to add Harley Fog Lights on 2010 FLTRX
The parts catalog makes it sound like the engine guard mounted Harley Fog Lights can't be used on my 2010 FLTRX. The parts guy at the dealership doesn't know if they will or won't work on my RGC. I've done a thread search, and can't come up with any testimonials concerning adding these lights to a 2010 Road Glide. Anybody out there done this? Any special mods to make the lights fit on the engine guards? Pictures?

Yes they will work, not sure why Harley instructions says otherwise? I have seen a couple at my local dealer with them mounted and they look good! I actually bought a set for mine but traded up to RG Ultra before getting mounted....:-)
There is a thread here that I found that shows a couple pics....

Thanks for replying everybody. hog95023, the bars look the same as the bars on electra glides, ultras, etc., which I think is 1.250'". I think I'm going to pick up a set & give them a try. The dealer I use is good about taking back items. Based on seeing these on several bikes lately, reading many testimonials, and compared to brands that cost twice as much, the Harley lights offer a lot of bang for the buck.

Thats good to know. After this thread started Ive been entertaining the idea of getting a set. they do look like a nice product that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. have you used these before? what similar type lights work better?

I have the light bar on my bike but am considering installing a LED type smaller light on the lowers as far outboard and down as possible. The will be the "see me" type and purpose and create a larger light triangle.

As much as I've like the fog lamp kit and Motolights, I'd recommend getting an LED headlamp (HD's or Truck Lite) for better night riding--I'll be buying the TL soon.
Good luck with your research.
