Default Need battery suggestions

Hey guys, after 6 years the battery in my 2005 RK classic is begining to get weak so before I get stuck somewhere I'm going to replace it.
Should I replace it with a new HD battery? What do you guys think.

You can't go wrong using an HD battery. Tried and true.

6 years and it is finally getting weak?
If it where me, I would be going with an OEM from the nearest HD dealership of choice.
Then again it is your bike and your money.
You do what you feel is right,
Rob

I know I will get flamed for this, but go with the stock HD Battery. Starting with My first HD bike (back in the60's)I always tried to get by with cheaper batteries and after 1yr or so I would find My self looking for a jump start. In the 80's when I got a little smarter I went with the HD battery. I get a new one now every 4-5 yrs. The extra bucks for the HD battery is worth the peace of mind, and not have to be looking for a jump start. Oh yeah, use a Battery Tender.

This battery is the exact same OEM battery without the logo but with a 1 year replacement warranty. If you want a logo on it you could buy a Harley decal and still be dollars ahead:-)

Deka ETX30L Battery delivered to your door $109.00

If you just roll around town, buy anything. If you ride out of state and are towed to a dealer, you want a factory warranty on your battery.

+1 for the HD battery. My 06 has the original and still cranks hard. Look into a battery minder, not tender. supposedly de-sulphates the battery. Don't know if it is for real, but my battery is 6 years+ old....
