Almost T-Boned Today
A close call today, but "no cager was involved"
I had just turned off US 27 onto a major city street in my home town when a guy on his Harley with his OL on the back decided to pull out directly in front of me. He had 4 other bikes lined up behind him and it looked like they were all coming at once.
Just as I was about to slam on my brakes, he stopped dead sideways in my lane. It's a wonder the 3 bikes behind him didn't rear end him.
Luckily I had an open oncoming lane to the left and was able to scoot around him. I was ready to stop and let him know, "no harm, no foul" but he looked really pissed off (at himself). So, I let it ride and was thankful I practice defensive driving.
I'm sure he learned a good lesson today with the added bonus of no one being hurt or injured.
Just goes to show you that there are more than just cagers to watch out for out there.
