Ok so I added a couple of pictures of the stretched bags and rear fender in mock up on my bike prior to finish work and you can clearly see that the pipes are no where long enough to IMHO look good. They will work for a short time but it will drive me nuts so I have to come up with some different slipons not only for length but for the diameter as well. Let me know what you guys think. Also now I am taking a pole straight cut or slash up pipes? I like both for different reasons.

Default Ultra and BD extended bags

Same look. Want something sticking out. Way out with end caps. Also don't wanna have to retune bike. 2012 Ultra Limited.

You could try sleeving the pipes and the joint should be hidden with the bags.

Try the American custom revolution series. I have 4.5 extended bags and they stick out over an inch.

Fairing plus 4.5" bags. Love them. ABS lids fit great.

Nice ride.. What bags and fender do you have? My winter project is stretched bags and fender. I've been doing a lot of looking and like your set up.

Your bike is awesome, love the paint scheme. Not overly done with the military & camo, great job!
