'05 Road King Makeover
As some of you know, I'm new to the Touring Family. I picked up this '05 Road King about a month ago, and I started ordering parts pretty much immediately. Well, the tear-down began today, and we should have it put back together in the next week or so. The front end is getting chrome lowers, Progressive lowering kit, chrome switch housings, master cylinder/ clutch kit, braided cables, and Carlini Bag Drag bars. The Fatcat is new, and is being test-fitted in the last pic. I'm still waiting on the chrome front calipers to come in. I opted for Progressive 430s in the rear. That's pretty much all the cosmetic changes (for now). I'm also waiting for my GMR Performance 98" kit, but it probably won't be here for about a month.

Well, here's an update. The front end is mostly back together...still waiting for the chrome calipers to arrive. The bars are on, and I think they're situated. One possible issue, is at full turn, they seem to want to hit the speedo console. I could turn them up some, but then I don't think they'll be as comfortable. Maybe larger fork stops? Anyway, she's coming together. I really like the stance after dropping it 1" in the front. I'm also waiting for a set of 12" Progressive 430's for the rear to drop it too.
