I have the Carlini Bag Drag Bars...they lock right before they hit the center console. Just watch the brake line in the right when you are checking the right side lock out. I creased my gas cap. Adjusted the brake-line angle & resolved that issue.

They lock before hitting the console? Mine aren't doing that.....I'm going to have to adjust my fork stops to keep them from hitting. As for the gas cap- I'm switching to the flush mount kit to keep that from happening. Thanks for the tips.

Looks sweet. About the bars, can you put 1" taller risers on it to clear the console?

Nope....the risers won't clear the cap. I'm working to modify the stock fork stops (the fat rubber one that goes around your upper fork tube).

Ugh, frustrating day for the build. My buddy who is doing the work (he does the majority, I help when I can), put the clutch cable on, and it's too long. I checked the part number, and realized that I was shipped the +3 cable, instead of the stock length. So, we've got to return it, and get the correct length. On top of that, the PM grips came in with no set screws to secure the left grip.....so I've gotta work on finding small set screws to make them work. On a good note, the chrome calipers arrived today.

Ok, we're done for now. Bike is entirely back together, and I put a few miles on today. Here are the pics:
