Default Road glide xm radio wiring

Have any of you wired a RG for xm?
Is there a way to avoid using the aux plug and direct wire instead?
If you've done it please describe how you wired power and audio. Pictures if you've got them.

On my Street Glide I bought a Sirius bike kit from tss-radio.com I also use a a wired fm transmitter that hooks to the Sirius and then is hooked into the fm antenna. No need to use the aux and it looks all nice and neat.

Heres a Harley XM module kit on Ebay >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...item2313b77aa2

I have one installed on my trike. It mounts on top of the radio housing and plugs into the back of the radio. The XM antenna is under the fairing so you dont even know its there

that seems to be the one to go with since you don't need the accessory plug.

Another Option

Adding a rear aux plug to the head unit is simple if your handy, or Iron Cross can add one for you, so you won't have a aux wire hanging out of the front of the radio ... then anything can be plugged into the head unit via the rear aux wire that runs out to the fairing area ... where ever you choose to have it ...
