Mix Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and Dawn dish soap....the only real way to rid the smell from the bike or my Rottweiler.....Save the Tomato juice for your Bloody Mary.

DO NOT do this in your garage. Do it outside away from everything. Years back I had a buddy cleaning parts with gasoline in his garage. He didn't think about the pilot flame on his GAS water heater. The vapors ignited and burned the CRAP out of his legs. 2nd and 3rd degree burns up to his ***. BE CAREFUL!

Ride safe!

Mythbusters tested a bunch of the skunk remedys, and this was the best they found!

Call your local vet ans ask what one would use to wash ones dog.
There is a formula that is part peroxide and water , it is diluted so as not to harm the dog.
Just tossing that out there,
Rob

All right, Last night I tried the Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dishwashing detergent, mixing them in a garden sprayer and spraying down the whole bike making sure to get up in the wheel wells and under the chassis. I let it sit for an hour and then washed with greased lightning. I actually worked pretty good. Still have a little bit of oder, but 10 thousand times better. I think I'll forgo the other ideas especially burrying the bike for month I wonder if I can just hang a bunch of those pine scented car fresheners all over the bike

Scott, you can hang two of them pine scented freshers from each mirror if you like.
Btw, please post the ingredients list and amounts please, just incase any of us hit one(skunk) in the near future.
Good to hear it works,
Rob
