it's still that way... damn polecats

 

2nd the tomato juice idea. It doesn't cover up the smell like one user suggested, the acidity of it somehow removes the smell. I've done it with dogs multiple times.

 

Hell I had to use the tomato juice on myself,and yes that stinks too,but not as bad as ole pepe le pu juice. Got sprayed while out deer hunting in a marsh. Had to throw away my clothes and boots.

 

Just don't let the juice sit for too long, acid will rust metal and could stain paint...

As long as he does it in the shade he should be fine. I wouldn't do it on a day that is hotter than Haiti either. I would try to it on a cool, overcast day or early or late in the day when temps are much cooler thus slowing down the evaporative process. Maybe do sections at time instead of trying to do the whoe bike at once.

 

Do not park it in the garage.

 

Have been using this mixture for years when our dogs get sprayed. Have found that it works much better than the tomato juice/sauce.

 

Been there done that. It will eventually go away. If ya stay on the throttle you won't smell it!

 

Thats exactly what I did when I went out for lunch. But damn I still had to stop at the diner, I may have ruined couple folks lunch when they walked up to the front door past my bike!

 

Thanks for all the advice, thinking about it I may try the idea of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap first. Seems to be the least costic solution.
