Default SE compensator 40274-08A - what's changed from -08?

I noticed the SE compensator article number is now 40274-08A in the catalog. Does anyone know how it differs from the 40274-08?

I was about to install the -08 and noticed this...

There's a discussion about the new kit here, but I don't know if it'll clear anything up.

Thanks for the replies.
As it turned out I was missing the thrust washer, 6557, in the kit anyway. I went back to the dealer and picked one up. I do not know if it is the new style, or old style. It is has the grooves though.
For what it's worth I did the SE comp upgrade, and removed the inner. I wanted to replace the main shaft lip seal, and bearing. I also installed the heavier clutch spring.
Here is a photo of the thrust washer, and one of the thrust washer, and sprocket retainer.

Is your thrust washer plastic?

I ask because I just bought SE Comp kit # 40274-08A, and the thrust washer is metal.

Could you re-post your pic?

Thanks

I just upgraded my compensator to the 08A and Dawg helped me understand the difference between the "non-A" and the "A" versions. Here is a pic he sent along. I bought the "A" version because it is supposed to be better at keeping the spline oiled up. Evidently, some guys were cutting grooves in their sprockets to try and get oil into the splines on the "non-A" version. I have no experience with this but I did read some accounts of this. Anyway, here is a pic courtesy of Dawg. I hope he doesn't mind me posting it up here...

Is there any difference between the rotor/stator in the two kits?
Thanks
