Wife's got me pegged ....
On a group ride this weekend one of the other wives was spouting off about how wonderful her adjustable passenger pegs were, so now my wife wants them also. "Fair enough, Sweetheart", I said and found a set of Harley Adjustable Auxiliary Passenger Footpeg Mounts (#54157-10) on line. The product description sounded like just what we needed -- except we need to "complete the custom look with our choice of footpegs (sold separately)". And then Harley goes on to list fifteen sets of pegs that do NOT fit. Can anyone tell me which pegs, Harley or aftermarket, actually work with the Adjustable Auxiliary Passenger Footpeg Mounts?

54157-10 is for passenger boards, WITH pegs. Click on view 2 on http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
Sort of confusing... but they have pegs that mount above the boards. I think that any of the pegs that have an adjustable rotational angle would work. You would remove the "axle" of the peg to mount them.
I didn't look up the ones that won't fit.... but I bet they are the plain Jane round ones that don't rotate.

My guess is that you want the Kuryakyn adjustible passenger pegs.

I don't really get the Adjustable pegs. The first 2 positions can't be used. because the saddlebag guards are in the way. So basically it gives you 1 forward and higher position. Not that useful.
Am I missing something?

Just installed the Kury's myself last week, my 5'0" tall wife loves them. These and the George Anderson relocate mount have made my wife finally comfy. I think part of the problem is with my sundowner seat. She had to reach around the seat for the pegs or floorboards, tried both. We think the rear lip of the front bucket part of the seat is so big and her so short that as she tried to reach for the pegs and around the seat it was cutting of the circulation to her feet and they would start to go numb.
Now she is moved back, her feet are up and her inner thighs aren't being squeezed by the seat lip she has no numbing in her feet.

There are more foot peg options that do fit, than don't fit. I used the Crested Bar & Shield Logo ones on mine, and the wife likes them. The one potential issue is if she is going to move them from the full forward to the upright positions, the angle of the foot peg might not be correct, so the round ones would be better. My wife just leaves them in the upright position so it is not an issue for her.
