Anyone else actually like the stock SG windshield???/
I have been using a LRS 7.5" Ultraflip for almost a year now. I like it, but it the flip part is actually in my line of vision. Just on a whim, I put the stock shield back on yesterday and I must say I liked the ride quite a bit. I liked the more open and spacious feel and I really like the sportier look of the lower shield.
Sure, there is more wind, but I don't get the buffeting everyone talks about. So I will leave it on for a while, but I like it pretty well. Does anyone else like the shorty shield?

yes I do like the stock windshield, I keep it on most of the year. When I go on a long road trip or it gets real cold I put on my the 7 inch. I too don't don't understand all the whining about air turbulance & all the things people do to block the wind. It is a motorcycle afterall, it is suppose to be windy!

yup, I really like it. I'm 5'9" and it is perfect for me. I can ride with a hat facing forward going 75mph with no problems. I know some people talk about wind buffeting but i haven't experienced it. I'd say with 27K on the odometer I have ridden it enough to know if i like it or not. lol

I just got a 2012 RG I replaced it with the 6" HD sales with the little flip, I thought it looked kool and bough it purely for esthetics, but I feel no difference from the stock one, in retrospect I should have spent the money for on chrome, yeap all this complaining about wind is silly .........
