Default SE Comp

I've got a 83935-09 on order at Zanotti's. It's back ordered and when I checked on it today, they said it was being obsoleted. They are supposed to have some info on 8/31 about it.

Suppose they are fixing it?

I agree 100%!! Get the SE compensator. HD part number 40274-08. Hope that helps! The SE comp should be readily available. We order and install them all the time!

Default SCREAMING EAGLE Comp

The SE in the title is for Screaming Eagle. There has been a lot of dissatisfied people with the milage they get on the SE comp. I got about 30K on mine and it's making a lot of noise.

HTT has had a lot of dissatisfied SE comp threads. The part number I listed is for the three parts that fail and something is up at Harley with these kits.

I was just hoping they are improving them so they last longer.

We have had great luck with them so far. The stock comp lasts about (25K-30K) amount of miles. We have installed dozens of them and so far, no reports of failure or noise. We fill the primary with Amsoil 20W50 after installing them.
