I have the J & S and it is far better than a table lift. No regrets wished I would have bought it sooner. Good quality.

That would depend on which lift you have? I don't think they sell a better lift with more accessories than my titan 1500xl. I can do anything I need to on my lift. Whether its a Harley, Atv or side x side, and even had my Hustled zero turn on it.

A jack and a table lift are two different tools with different strengths. If you could afford and had space for both, you'd have both. Jack for cleaning and changing tires, etc. Table lift for service work and major modifications.

I'd love a table lift, and will have one someday (soon), but have to find some space in my garage first. I almost pulled the plug on one a couple of weeks ago, but started making room for it, and things just got too tight in my little garage. The fact that the pitbull jack brings my bike up to stand-up height for most things makes it work better for engine work than other jacks where I'd need to sit down to work on the motor. I also like the air powered hydraulics, which I don't think the J&S jacks offer.

Four to six hundred bucks is a lot for a jack, and I had a hard time justifying the expense for some time. I don't regret it a bit, but like lots of guys, I made do with a cheap one for awhile, you can do a lot of work on a 89 dollar jack.

not meaning to "jack" op's thread but i got a question.. them two jack brands.. j/s and pitbull.. they either all up or all down? or can you "lock" them at different heights? i viewed both sites yesterday and don't remember it being addressed. only difference i saw was one a little higher with a t bar to help move bike around.. and one a little cheaper, a little shorter and you could buy a drain accessory to help with the oil changes. could also buy a t bar accessory as well for a little more. kinda like the oil drain thing.

thanks
