anyway, thinking this might have run its course. Slow, but in a pinch... does the trick.

I still use mine. Got one for the car and Harley's version for the bike.

I have one but replaced it with a Zumo three years ago. I have been thinking about putting it in the car, though.

a freind of mine just bought a second one as back up,he didnt want to be stuck with all the mounts and external antena"s he got for it.it is a little slow,and the screens a little primative but his has been very reliable.

I still use my HD model but I do need to update maps again. I would love to have a newer large touch screen model but I dont have the cash.

My Garmin StreetPilot is ancient, but it works as well as the latest ones.

I use mine, and it works fine for the bike. I generally build ride maps with Mapsource and then let the Garmin "steer me" when I lead a group ride. I also use the Tracking option frequently.
