Looking for Low End Toque & Cooler Temp
I have a 2012 Street Glide with the 103 of coarse, 75% of my riding is in the mountains back roads. Third & Fourth gears for miles at a time is not unusal for me. 2 up riding & I alone am pushing 280-285 the bike does fine with the 103 but I am looking to cool it down & gain a little more grunt on the bottom end. At these speeds 2up riding & baggs loaded down in hill country I want it to run as cool as I can get it too.
I am looking at running the V&H Power Duals, V&H Turndown Mufflers (removable baffles), SE-255 cam install, Stage 1 or 2 Arlen Ness Big Sucker Ac, or SE heavy breather, & installing a Tuner of coarse.
Any better ideals or advise is welcome. Help me out if ya can Thanks

I was going to go with VH until I heard about the scraping issues when cornering. I went with the Fuelmoto headpipe,SE air intake,PC PV and Jackpot 4" slash downs and it runs like a raped ape. I only have a 96" and don't think I'll need a cam. Give them a call first and see what they have for your 103".

Gutting the cat, adding the SE I air cleaner and a Fi2000R Cobra fuel programmer will cost you under $500 and will run the engine cooler and stronger than any other method.
I run three bikes that way. The 10 Ultra pulls the Rockies in 6th gear. Never any pinging and I run 87 to 89 octane. It went through Death Valley in the afternoon with no issues.
I run the stock exhaust.
The set up yields 50 mpg and the Ultra has 18K on it with that set up. Again spent less than $500.
The Cobra is plug and play. Only takes 30 minutes max to install. No need to dyno the bike.
