The original airbox was a large plastic moulding, which that cover fitted onto and sealed against. The purpose of that moulding was to act as an induction silencer and by fitting an SE air filter the plastic moulding has been removed, giving far better maximum airflow.

Thats some awesome Power. My 95" bagger was built for nitrous but its never been installed. I'm afraid i'll detonate that sucker!

the cover will result in hoter air being pulled in from the convention effect of that iar heated by the engine. hotter air is good for epa goals but don't add any performance values.
I run my stage one with out a cover. even in pouring rain, engine runs fine.

no they are not stock. they had some work done to them by a guy in indiana.

Spray it!! Its a blast to hit that button! I will warn you though. Its addictive. I have a 65lb bottle at home for refills.
