Theirs is nothing wrong with my brakes they work fine. All I am trying to say is if you use only your brakes and not your gears to slow down in a short time like 2 minuets your back brakes might go flat and not work

In your first post you said the pedal went all the way down. Correct? They may fade but the pedal shouldn't go to the stop.
Bleed your brakes and the pedal won't do that coming down from high altitudes.
It doesn't take much air in your lines.
Trust me. I ride those passes regularly.
i had that happen once..going down a steep hill on a 69 sportster chopper. only had a banana caliper on the rear wheel.half way down i had nothing.i rode thru a red light and 4 lanes of traffic at the bottom 40-50mph dragging my feet the whole way
I have never had that problem before. And I have gone down many passes. It only took about 1 to 2 minuets to cool down then they were working great. The only thing is it turn my rotor brown from the heat, I check the rotor to see if it was warp and it look ok. The whole thing is weird I still do not know why the brake pedal went all the way down to the stop
