Default Filling Air Shocks

Anyone using a device to fill the air shocks on a touring bike besides the $50 air pump from the MOCO?? I know high pressure is a bad idea.

Check out a high end bicycle shop. They have very small bicycle pumps in the $10 to $25 range that work well. Just be sure to get one for a Schroeder valve and not a Presta valve.

I have a couple mounted on my road bikes and have used them without any problem. Various types some have a 6" tube and some fit over the valve. The tube is the easiest to use.

If you are on I-40 east bound in Oklahoma there is a tank rack bag in the ditch with a new HD one in it with some other stuff. ^*#$(@$%.

I got a small swhinn pump at Wallmart for maybe $10. Sanded the tip a little for a good tight fit. Works fine. Then I use a regular air gage to get correct pressure.

Cheap pump for basketball/football/soccer ball (looks like a big syringe) can be had for less than 5 bucks. And a low pressure tire gauge..... you're set.

I think you can also get one on ebay that has a guage on it for under $10.
