Default 09 manual close enough to 12?

So I bought my bike a month ago and I got walking papers this week. So ... I am in a bit of a pinch financially I can buy a cheap factory service manual for 20$ used but I want to know how much of it will cross over to my 12 or is it a complete waste of money?

The efi is not the same but the mechanicals are similar. Manuals get updated ie like torque procedures. Up to you

You can drop thousands of dollars on a 2012 bike but cant squeak for the service manual? WTF?

if it were me, I'd get the right manual for my bike.... I'd just skip a couple of meals out and eat beanie-weenies if I had too.

BUT, that's just me.

you will find almost all the stuff the same or similar some wiring differences most likely, as for torque values, come on tighten them up so they don't fall off!! only things that really need torquing is some motor stuff (which will be the same from 09 to '12) the rest:just before the break!! depends on how much you are planning to do/work on the bike . just service stuff, you'll be fine

the 09 will be close in so many respects , but the ones that'll be problems, you won't know until you are there.

Just the wiring diagrams alone---

order the 2012 from an online discount dealer like zanottis
