Default 09 road king front end wobble

I have 16000 miles on my 09 flhrc. the front tire was replaced at 6000 under waranty issue. This weekend I started to experience starting at 40 mph a wobble. If I let go of the bars the front shakes from side to side...at high speed a vibration...tire pressure is good. brakes arent hanging up...new pads installed two weeks ago with a new back tire. I'm thinking a tire issue but no visible cupping and wear is good...tanks for any help

Out of balance tire or head bearings need tightening if its doing it when you arent braking. If it does it while braking, probably warped rotors.

I agree, check the neck bearing adjustment. Several 09 and 10's (mostly road glides) have had to tighten down the neck bearing more than specified to take care of it.

There is a service bulletin that talks about steering head adjustment on 09s. I belive it is Service Bulletin M-1246.

Sounds like a bad balance job.. If a spoked wheel,, check for loose spokes. you'd be surprised.

Sounds like a bad balance job.. If spoke wheels are involved.. check for loose spokes. you'd be surprised. Aliment has to be true front to back wheel. I suggest jacking up your scoot and check tire play for wobble side to side.
