The stock cams are designed to reduce emissions. They have less than zero overlap, and a very short duration. If you want to wake up your bike, a cam swap in the newer bikes is a home run. The heads have been getting better over the years, and if you get rid of the catalytic converter in the exhaust, and swap in a set of mild performance cams, it will seem like a different bike. The 103 bikes with a set of Woods 555 or SE204 cams are coming in at around 90hp and 100+ tq, after a good tune.

The cam swap is an easy DIY job for a home mechanic. You'll have to tune it again, though.

What "Cam" recommendation would you give for a 96? I mostly right 2 up and I have a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I have the Arlen Ness Big Sucker, Stock headers with the catalytic converter gutted out and Bassani slip ons.

The thing you need to know was said above. I went Fuel Moto at 4400 miles, it's got some ***** then, clear seat of the pants difference and much cooler. Now at 9800 miles better yet than at the change. We just trailered to Leadville Colorado 10,200 feet elevation the week before Sturgis, 2- up loaded down north across the Rockies to Custer, with 2 days through the Black Hills and back. She never skipped a beat, plenty of power and mountains were a breeze.
Don't know your mileage, but if you been on here log enough, you will find tuned or not the 103s don't start running well till the 5 - 6 k miles hit. Give it time, it should be fine. And if you want more, the only way to get it out of the 103 is cams.

Ride On.

Before tune
SE AC, V&H Power Duals, Rush with 1.75" HP 60.67, TQ 72.49
After tune
SE AC, V&H Power Duals, Rush with 1.75", SESPT HP 71.05, TQ 81.76

You gained almost 13% torque and a whopping 17% in hp and you are disappointed?

Gained a little over 10hp with the tune. Should have called FuelMoto.

Not too bad for a stock motor. How many miles on bike?? That exhaust is hurting you a bit,but those numbers are not bad.A good 2 into 1 would give you a little more!!

Slam dunk choice for a stage I 96, especially one ridden 2-up, is the SE255 cam.

If you're not planning on going bigger than 96, the 255s will work as good any any cam (and better than most), and they can be had fairly cheaply as CVO takeouts. However, there are better choices for a 103, and if you go to 107 with stock heads, the 255 cams really don't work. So, if you're thinking of building up, it's best to give some thought to what you want end-state so you're not re-doing work.

Just so you can see what a difference a cam will make. My bike is basically set up like yours except for the slip-on and I added the cam. I have:

The 103 kit with the SE255 cam
SE AC
Non-California factory header (no cat)
Fuel Moto Jackpot 4" slip-on
TTS Mastertune

I don't remember the hp but the torque ended up at 104.5 ft lbs. at about 3100 rpm. So by adding some kind of cam and a good tune you could easily be over 100 lbs. of torque. Go for it! :-)

Boogaloodude, Thanks for the reply. Do you have an ideal of what HP and Torque, I might go out of the 96 with the SE255 cams?

60hp and 72 tq? Those are stock TC88 numbers.
I'd say the dyno is merely pessimistic. It did show a nice gain and that's what counts. Before you get all worried and start changing things, run it on another dyno first. I bet you'll see at least a 10 hp and 10tq difference.
