Default What would you do

If you and another couple were riding out late at night say after 11 P.M. on country road at a leasure pace when you come to a curve in the road and find head lights from a LARGE car are 3/4 in your lane coming head on and you notice you have 1 more bike space to move over to reach the side of the road?

The person of interest was slupted in the seat and I could have spit into the drivers window they were that close. Our friends where about 6 car lengths behind us and they had a car behind them, I flashed my high beams once, and I saw trees on my right, I kept the bike upright and the auto a battle wagon of sorts, drifted to my left.

The battle wagon drifted back into traffic in our lane after us, and he went between our friends and the auto behind them as viewed in our friends right mirrow and they were riding on the right painted line of their lane.

What can you carry or do that will alert a drunk fixing to take you out of comission, in a situation like this?

there's nothing you can do (in addition to attempting to avoid them) otherwise you are distracted and you need all your focus on what you are doing to avoid them

we would all like to pull out a gun and shoot them dead, however the law prevents it once the threat has passed of them killing you with their car

It depends on what the wife of the other couple you were riding with looked like.

glad you got out of the way

2.) call 911 with all information you have

a.) could be diabetic coma or other medical emergency and the driver needs help

b.) douche selfish a-hole is drunk and the rest of the world needs protection from him.

An air horn might have helped.

Default Try aerobics!

Make sure you are physically fit! You need to have an exercised body that is fit and trim so that if that happens to you, you can bend over like a pretzel and kiss your a** goodby! Drunk drivers will be the end all to the end all.
