Default Road Glide Lowers on a Street Glide?

Has anyone put Road Glide Lowers on a Street Glide?

I just realized that I bought Road Glide Lowers and I have a Street Glide. Got them on e-bay. Paint matched Merlot, brand new, just my luck. The same thing happens to me with parts trucks and cars.

I know they will fit, but I'd like to see if any of you have seen it done before and how it looked, photos if you got um. At this point I could still sell them as never installed.

Thanks for any opinions,
Ken

The difference is vented or non-vented. They probably fit. Can you live without the vents?

They are different according to the parts book...Is it a different crash bar?

I believe the Road Glide lower fairing kit mounts a tad different than the FLHX kit...they are different part#'s.

Sorry about that.

The diffrence is the part that covers the top of the crash bar. The cap on this one is a littlt shorter so the RG blinker don't drag.

It mounts to the crash bar and RG and SG use the same one so I know they will mount. I'm not sure if the RK has the same crash bar.

I will post photos when I get it put together.

Do the RG lowers you bought come with glove boxes?
