Default street glide differences

I am looking to buy a street glide in next few weeks and just started looking into whats out there.Can some tell me the differences if any between the 06,07,08,09 models?just some things to look for.

'06 & earlier 88ci, 5 Speed

'07 & later 96ci, 6 speed

'09 & later new frame, wider tire.

08 First year for the bigger 6 gallon gas tank.

08 first year for ABS

09 first year for wider 180 rear tire and 16 inch (was 15 inch) front tire.

09 Major frame and exhaust change

2010 17 inch front tire (SG only)

2012 103 engine

Not sure this is correct. I'm pretty certain my 06 had a 16" tire on it.

Hmm, maybe the SG was already 16 and I assumed it because all but the RKC front wheels increased to 16.

Up thru '08, front wheel was 16". '09 went to 17" front and '10 - up is an 18" front wheel.

Thanks for the info guys.There are more changes from year to year than i thought there might be.Looks like im going to look for an 07-08 unless i get lucky and find an 09 in my price range.

I would really take the time and look for a 2009. I really like the new frame and the bigger tire. There are many who disagree with that, but you can test ride a new one that has the bigger tire and then see if you can ride an 08.

I have 15K miles on my 2010 and the only complaint I have on the bigger tire is the frequency at which I have to replace them.
