Tire repair kit & pump
I have been reading a thread about how to pack for a trip. A couple posts mentioned a tire repair kit and one mentioned an electric pump.
I am curious as to which tire repair/patch kit you folks take/have used and what you use for air if you do have a flat.
I have a RKC and so I have tubes. This might make a difference in your replies. Though, any and all ideas are welcome.
I would guess that a tool list would be different for a RKC w/ tubes when compared to a tool list for a bike w/ tubless tires.

There is no way that you can plug a tire with a tube. You need to look at this product called ride on. I am no way connected to this product in any way. I use it in my tubeless tires but you can use this in tubes also. Not only does it seal any holes on the tread area it also balances the tire. The tire also runs cooler and will make the tire last longer. Its cheep enough to give it a try.

Is a "slime" mini compressor a brand name? Or, slang for a particular type?

I bought my kit from www.motopumps.com. Rob, the owner, is a fellow rider in upstate New York. If you ask he will put together a kit including the sticky strings and the rasp/insert tools.
