Default Cruise Control. Worth it?

I am getting everything together to do a bar swap and thought about adding cruise control when I did. Is it worth the money? Do you use yours a lot? Thanks for the advice in advance.

I just did about 10,000 miles to Alaska and back. I LIVED on the cruise control. Highly recommend it if you're a road warrior. If you;'re an around town rider with the occasional hundred mile trip, it's probably not worth the money.

I agree 100%. Just get it. It's beter to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Words to live by. Ride hard and ride safe!

I always thought that cruise was a joke on a bike, didn't belong. My road glide came with it standard, gotta say I fell in love with it!! you can switch hands driving, control speed with one finger, on a touring bike, would not be without it get it you'll be happy you did

Adding cruise while doing the bar swap is the ideal opportunity to add the convenience of cruise. That's when I added cruise to my RK and I use it all the time short rides or long. Saves a bit on fuel as well.

Never had it before the Ultra... 30,000 miles later.. love it. It is great on 500+ mile days.

Came from a "throttle wrist rest" on my last bike to cruise control on my EG. Now I would not leave home without it. Kind of a "gotta have"on my bikes from now on !! Happy trails...

It's worth it for around town or long hauls.

went from a triumph speed triple daily rider to a streetglide... didn't even consider cruise but it came on the bike.. it ended up being the best thing about changing riding styles... has saved me speeding tickets. set it and forget it... can't believe the difference it makes.. especially when riding any amount of distance.

Don't use it all the time, but when I do, it's definitely worth it!
