HELP !!! - I have a 2004Rk - V&H 2 in 1 Pro pipe - PC111 - SE air cleaner - I think it has a stage 1 download and the rest is stock. PC111 and V&H pro pipe just added new. It has been dynoed and has good power[!]; but has a horrible rumble and POPPING!! on decel. Can anybody with the same configuration send me a copy of their map. Would like to compare before going to the tuner AGAIN !!! THANKS --- any suggestions appreciated also.

 

Get it tuned by a PRO!

 

Was it a dynojet tuning center? They are the only ones with the software to tune a PCIII right.

 

Have you checked the Power Commander website? They have a lot of MAPS that are free to download. I would bet there is something similar to your set-up. You will need to know if the bike already has the Stage 1 download though. You local dealer should be able to plug a Scanalyzer into your bike and tell you. I would be surprised if they charged you. I've seen my local dealer do this for free a number of times.

 

I had to add 20's to my 0 throttle position from 1500 rpm up to about 4,000 rpm. (left column when PCIII software is running on your laptop or PC) Stops the popping. Sometimes you can get away with 15 or 10's. Lower numbers may save a little gas not sure. Works for me. Try it you can always change it back if you don't like it.
